This honeysuckle is a hardy twining climber with sweetly-scented, symmetrical flowers that produce a sweet, edible nectar.With over 140 active medicinal compounds, Orange honeysuckle is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, anti oxidative, and hepatoprotective.Growing up to 10-20 feet tall this plant likes to live in sun to partial shade. From late Winter to early Spring this plant blossoms Orange. Can be woven through fence lines to make for a wind break boasting a sweet perfume.Apply cold stratification by putting the seeds in the freezer for 2 months prior to planting to simulate winter conditions and thus break seed dormancy.Soak seeds in water 24 h prior to sowing. Sow seeds 1/16th of an inch deep. Keep seeds and soil moist throughout the germination phase.
